Cairns Tropical Zoo:

When you are in Oz you have to see the natives, so a few hours was spent wandering around the Zoo, where we met, and Lynne got to touch some of them. We couldn't talk her into handling the snakes or the crocodiles, but she was more than happy to cuddle a koala and feed the kangaroos.

After the zoo we stopped at Palm Cove beach for a swim and a little sun soaking, as it was the first and so far, only sunny day we have had.
Fingers crossed for more.
